Aizu Homare.

In 1918 (Taisho 7), Kosaku Karahashi, who used to be a rice wholesaler and ran a miso and koji manufacturing business, took a sake brewery and founded Kano Sake Brewery Co., Ltd. in what is now Natsushio Kano-cho, Kitakata City.

Later, to expand the business, we moved to our current location in Matsuyama-cho, Kitakata City, and changed the company name to Karahashi Sake Brewery, a limited company, and then Homare Sake Brewery Co., Ltd., and with stable quality and continuous technical improvements, we have become one of the leading sake breweries in the Tohoku region.I have grown.

The representative brand ``Aizu Homare'' is named after ``Aizu'' to make the name Aizu sake known throughout the country, and is called ``Homare'' in hiragana because it is easy to read, remember, and approach.

At the time, it was extremely rare for sake brands to use hiragana.

The font for ``Aizu Homare'' was written by Tenrai Hitai, a modern calligrapher born in Nagano Prefecture.
